Hull City promoted to Premier League

Hull City have clinched promotion to the Premier League after a 2-2 draw with Cardiff City at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

It marks a return to the top flight of English football for the Yorkshire side after two seasons in the Premier League between 2008 and 2010.
Ex-Hull striker Fraizer Campbell put champions Cardiff in the lead to silence the home crowd but they hit back with goals from Nick Proschwitz and Paul McShane.
Incredibly, Hull were given the chance to wrap up promotion with a last-minute penalty, but the German striker s effort was saved by David Marshall and Cardiff went up the other end, earning a spot-kick of their own after an Amdy Faye handball, which was converted by Nicky Maynard.

I want to coach Fiorentina – Mutu

Former Chelsea forward Adrian Mutu has set his sights on becoming the future coach of Serie A outfit Fiorentina.

Mutu, 37, joined Romanian side ASA Targu-Mures in January in a bid to put himself into contention for his country s Euro 2016 squad.

The former Romania international has also begun coaching lessons and revealed his goal is to coach Fiorentina, where he spent five years as a player between 2006-2011.

Pearce backs McManaman to shine

England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce believes Callum McManaman fully deserves to be part of next month s European Championship in Israel.

The Wigan winger has been named in the 23-man squad for the tournament after excelling at Under-20 level for the national side and the Lancashire club domestically this season.

If you believe reports, French giants PSG are poised to smash the world transfer record by activating Neymar s €222million release clause.
